Why Singapore passport powerful than the USA, Japan passports?

Singapore has held the top spot on the Henley Passport Index for the last five years.

The Henley Passport index ranks passports from around the world according to how many destinations their holders can visit without a prior visa.

According to the Henley Passport index, which was just updated in July, Singapore is currently ranked highest.

Here are 4 reasons why Singapore always held the top position in the passport index.

1. Global mobility

The Singapore passport allows its holders to enter 195 countries without a visa or only need to obtain one upon arrival. Citizens of Singapore can travel easily for business, pleasure, and education thanks to this broad access.

2. Economic foundations

One of the main reasons Singapore’s passport has so much power is its solid economic base. The nation is acknowledged as a significant global financial center with a robust economy and a high GDP per capita. Other countries are more inclined to give Singaporean tourists visa-free entry because of this economic stability, which boosts their own confidence.

3. Diplomatic relations

Singapore’s diplomatic efforts, both strategic and vigorous, greatly enhance the value of its passport. The nation actively engages in international organizations, cultivates bilateral and multilateral cooperation, and upholds positive relations with countries all over the world. The reciprocal visa agreements that result from these diplomatic ties make traveling easier for Singaporean passport holders.

4. Security features

Modern security measures, such as biometric information and advanced encryption technologies, are included in the Singaporean passport. The integrity of the document is ensured by these developments, which guard against misuse and forgery. Since Singaporean passports are highly secure, holders of those passports can enter other nations more easily because of the heightened level of assurance.
