Mundibusiness: Revolutionizing Business Intelligence for SMEs

In a world where business success is largely determined by data, small and medium-sized businesses (SMEs) frequently struggle to fully utilize their valuable data because of complicated, costly, and technical tools. To level the playing field for SMEs and independent contractors, Mundibusiness provides an easy-to-use, cost-effective, and accessible Business Intelligence (BI) solution.

Business Now had the opportunity to talk with Rafael David Benito Crespo, the founder of Mundibusiness, about the company’s goals, how technology can empower small businesses, and how they’re changing the way data can help all business owners make better decisions.

Here’s what Rafael shared about his vision, the tools behind Mundibusiness, and what sets the platform apart:

1. What inspired you to create Mundibusiness, and what specific market need were you aiming to address for small and medium-sized businesses?

The idea for Mundibusiness was born from seeing how many small and medium-sized businesses, and even freelancers, face a huge daily challenge: they have valuable data in their business, but they don’t know how to take advantage of it. The existing tools are often too technical, complex, and expensive.

Most of these tools are designed for large corporations with IT departments, leaving out smaller businesses that also need clear information to make smart decisions.

With Mundibusiness, I wanted to break that barrier. We created a solution that doesn’t require technical knowledge or an IT team to implement. It’s designed so that anyone—regardless of whether they’ve ever used a Business Intelligence tool—can understand their data and make better decisions. And something fundamental: we include a free version and very affordable paid plans, because we know that for SMEs and freelancers, budget is always a critical factor.

We wanted to democratize access to BI, so that any business, regardless of its size, can grow using the power of its data.

2. How does Mundibusiness make advanced tools like artificial intelligence and Big Data accessible to users without technical training?

From the beginning, we focused on simplicity. Mundibusiness technology is designed to work in the background, handling all the complex analysis without the user even noticing.

AI analyzes the data, and Big Data processes large volumes of information, but what the user sees are easy-to-understand charts, practical recommendations, and a virtual assistant that guides them step by step.

There’s no need for technical training or an IT department. Any freelancer or SME can log in, connect their data, and start seeing results from day one.

Plus, by offering a free version and highly affordable paid plans, we’re also removing the financial barrier that often keeps small businesses away from these kinds of technologies.

3. With so many Business Intelligence tools available today, what do you think sets Mundibusiness apart in terms of functionality or philosophy?

What truly sets us apart is our philosophy and approach. While other BI platforms are very powerful, they often come with a steep learning curve and require a technical team behind them. Mundibusiness focuses on simplicity and accessibility.

With just a few clicks, you can get a clear view of how your business is doing, which areas need attention, and what actions you can take.

Our business model also sets us apart. We offer a fully functional free version so that any SME or freelancer can get started without fear. Our paid plans are very affordable, designed so no one is left out due to budget constraints. In short, we want Business Intelligence to stop being a luxury reserved for large companies and become a daily tool for everyone.

4. What role does artificial intelligence play in helping your users make smarter business decisions, and how do you ensure that the recommendations are truly actionable?

Artificial intelligence acts like a virtual advisor that’s always available. It analyzes business data, detects patterns that might otherwise go unnoticed, and proposes concrete actions—like optimizing inventory, identifying the most profitable customers, or adjusting prices based on trends.

To ensure those recommendations are truly actionable, we tailor them to the real-world context of each SME. The AI doesn’t give generic advice; it learns from the specific data of each business and offers solutions that fit their day-to-day operations.

The best part is that you don’t need to be an expert to benefit from this. Any user can apply the suggestions without needing technical knowledge or an IT department.

5. Looking ahead, what’s your vision for Mundibusiness, and how do you see it evolving as the needs of SMEs change?

My vision is for Mundibusiness to become the digital companion of SMEs and freelancers. We want it to evolve with them, incorporating technologies like predictive analytics, process automation, and new integrations with other platforms—always staying true to our core: a simple, accessible, and affordable tool.

I strongly believe that SMEs need to have the same capabilities as large enterprises to compete on equal terms. And that’s only possible if we remove the technical and financial barriers.

At Mundibusiness, we want to ensure that no SME is left behind due to a lack of resources, knowledge, or technology—no matter where they are in the world. We’ve created a tool so simple and accessible that any business, anywhere, can now use it to turn their data into smart decisions and compete head-to-head with the big players. Because innovation only makes sense when it reaches everyone.
