McDonald’s topped the list of eateries for which Finance Buzz calculated inflation, with an average price increase of 100% across ten different menu items since 2014.
Since 2014, four of their menu items—the McDouble burger, medium fries, and Quarter Pounder with Cheese meal—have more than doubled in price.
They used to cost $5.39, but now they cost nearly $12. The price of the McChicken sandwich increased the most, nearly tripling from $1 in 2014 to $2 in 2024.
